Project Overview

We partnered with Brazilian M&A advisory and consulting firm, Matix Capital, to present an investment thesis. An around 40-page document was prepared by 10 of us analyzing the financials of this league to come to a conclusion on whether this would be a successful investment or not. This project represents a groundbreaking collaboration between SIFF and Matix Capital to develop a comprehensive investment thesis. Our research focuses on calculating market inefficiencies and growth opportunities within the football ecosystem.

Methodology

Our approach combines quantitative financial analysis with qualitative market research. We updated an already existing, but old, Matix Capital thesis by using statistical models and scouring financial reports to lead to the conclusion that this specific league was in fact, worth investing in, and would offer a great ROI.

The project delivered a detailed investment thesis document, risk assessment framework, and strategic recommendations for Matix Capital's football league investment strategy. This research served as a foundation for future investment decisions and market entry strategies.
